Treatment Cancellation Policy

In our commitment to provide an outstanding service to our clients, and to respect my time as a professional, we have the following cancellation terms:

·        If you need to cancel your appointment at short notice due to COVID-19, there will be no cancellation fee incurred. We can arrange your appointment in line with government guidance regarding self-isolation.

·        If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, 50% of the price of your treatment will be required.

·        Late or missed appointments with no notice will require the full cost of the treatment to be paid.

Turning up to an appointment late, or not showing up at all, disrupts the prompt and personalised service we aspire to provide all of our clients.

·        If you have an emergency, please contact us and let us know at the first opportunity you can. We are understanding and appreciate unexpected events happen, and if we are made aware with sufficient notice, we may waiver fees.

If we need to cancel an appointment, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and reschedule the appointment for as soon as is mutually convenient. Refunds will only be issued in the event of cancellation by Cariad.

Important Holistic Therapy appointment etiquette

All treatments are by appointment only.

Cariad will not knowingly undertake any treatments on clients who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

It is important that both our boundaries are honoured during our session together. If this is not respected, Cariad reserves the right to terminate the session at any given point.

Cariad only provides legitimate and professional services. We do not offer any services other than those stated. Underwear and cleanliness is required for all clients.

During massage treatments, towels are used to cover the parts of the body not being treated. This is to protect the dignity of the client and for purposes of comfort and hygiene.

If you feel uncomfortable with any aspect of the session or wish your therapist to stop at any time, you must make this clear by expressing this to us.

Important Remote Therapies etiquette

Please arrive at least a few minutes early

Please ensure your mobile phone is switched off or in silent mode

Your remote treatment session will last for the duration agreed at the time of booking.

Payment Processing

Payment is required on the day of treatment by cash, credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal only.

All prices are fully inclusive (no vat is chargeable).  Cariad Holistic Health & Wellness reserves the right to change prices at any given time. Any price changes will not affect any already treatments booked in advance.

Treatments Contra-indications

As with any treatment a consultation questionnaire will need to be completed before any treatments proceed.  Some of the treatments have contra-indications (health conditions which may require a specific treatment to be adapted or deem it unsuitable for you), and therefore it is of vital importance that you disclose your full medical state and history at the time of the treatment. Any Contra-indication that your GP can provide a letter to state treatment can take place is very welcome. All information given by you is treated in strict confidence.  You must also notify us before any further treatments of any changes to your health or medication.
